- Live Out Assistant Housekeeper required to assist the head housekeeper for a family residing within a beautiful country estate near to Guildford. Supporting a lovely family of four, the household team are looking to add to their numbers with the ever-growing workload across multiple properties within the estate.
The successful candidate will be able to work well as part of a team, have a strong sense of loyalty and be serious about confidentiality.
The estate owners work from home most of the time and, as such, require someone who can go about their duties to the highest of standards, in a professional and discreet manner.
Duties- Cleaning and tidying
- Washing and ironing
- Assisting household staff with putting away of shopping and deliveries
- Assisting household staff with animal care (cats and dog)
- Occasional errands to the local village or town
Skills and Experience- Must have at least 2yrs private housekeeper/assistant housekeeper experience
- Must have experience in handling and cleaning expensive and antique furniture
- Must have experience in handling and laundering expensive clothing
- Must be a good communicator and team player
- Knowledge of cleaning marble and other high-end finishes is advantageous, but not essential (training can be given)
- Silver service training is advantageous, but not essential
- Must hold a valid UK driving license and have own vehicle.
Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm (35 hours a week)
Salary: £35,000 pa (PAYE)
28 days paid holiday
