- Description
- Live in Housekeeper Cook required for a large family estate with a 10 bedroom house plus private suite that holds shooting parties 8 times a year. The principle couple are in residence on and off for 8 months of the year. This is a fully staffed estate with an estate manager, farm manager game keeper plus assistant, handy man and maintenance man, gardening team and a full time cleaner plus private PA. The main duties will be to maintain the house at all times to a high standard, assisting with the cleaning duties and laundry and ironing, running errands, shopping for groceries and cooking breakfast for guests and assisting the chef when catering for the shooting parties. Also family cooking for the couple as required. Previous experience in a similar role and own car is required for this positon but there is use of an estate vehicle for work use only.
Working Days/Hours: 9 hours a day, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with occasional weekend cover, days off to be taken during the week in lieu. Must be happy to work some evenings with a long mid-day break.
Accommodation: 2 bedroom flat with private entrance.
Salary £40K gross per annum (£600net)
