- Description
- Live In Couple required for family home, primarily based in West Sussex.
Housekeeper Role:- Anticipating and understanding the needs and requirements of the family.
- Being responsible for the cleaning of the house both themselves as well as overseeing other part-time cleaners.
- Laundry and Ironing.
- Inventorying and provisioning household articles and groceries.
- Regularly cook family meals and occasionally for small dinner parties.
- Serving at drinks and dinner parties.
- Good teamwork and communication with the employer, the private office and wider support staff.
- Understand the technical aspects of the house to assist the family
- Look after the family’s dog and possible future pets if/when required.
- To handle other tasks and requests which may reasonably be expected
Maintenance/Chauffeur/Security Role
Maintenance Role:- Understanding all the technical equipment of the house and actively checking and ensuring all is working correctly.
- Fixing small issues around the house that are within their capability
- Co-coordinating the third-party companies for any service and repairs.
- Running a Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule (PPM).
- Ensure the exterior of the house, including terraces and windows are clean.
- Seasonal upkeep of the swimming pool.
- Outside furniture maintained to a high standard and cushion set up and clearing away
- Look after the family’s dog and possible future pets if/when required.
- To handle other tasks and requests which may reasonably be expected. Drive whenever requested by the employer, including regularly to/from London and occasionally to Europe, including overnight stays.
- Run household errands for the family.
- Occasionally drive the children to school or activities.
- Ensure all daily use cars are clean, roadworthy and with charge / petrol. Liaise with security companies who manage the technical aspects of security and have a thorough understanding of these systems.
- Coordinating with the other team members living on-site to ensure there is a 24/7 security presence, including regular CCTV monitoring and patrols
- Ensure all security systems are maintained and serviced at the relevant times
Working Days/Hours: 5 day week to with Monday and Tuesday off. They family travel a lot so down time during these periods. Flexibility required.
Accommodation: Separate 2 bedroom apartment.
Salary:£80K gross per annum
