- Description
- Housekeeper/Caretaker Couple required for a rural location on a 50 acre privately owned estate owned by a mature couple. You will be joining other staff members including a live out housekeeper, assistant estate manager and gardeners. The main duties for the housekeeper with be cleaning to a high standard, laundry and ironing, care of fine fabrics and finishes and working alongside the existing housekeeper to maintain the main house and guest cottages to a five star standard. There is one large main house and 5 detached properties along with a swimming pool, tennis court, and pool house set in 50 acres of paddocks, lawns and formal gardens. The Caretakers duties will include: Security, on call for intruder alarm calls and emergencies, assisting with maintenance and upkeep of the properties, estate and grounds. Some gardening and driving may be required. Previous experience in a similar role and excellent references are essential. You must both be drivers.
Days/Hours of Work: 5 days a week, 40 hours a week. Friday to Tuesday inclusive.
Salary: £65K to £75K gross per annum. Depending on hours and previous experience
Accommodation: Separate 2 bedroom cottage close to the estate. No dependents but one dog considered.
