Live In Groundsman/Maintenance Person - Chichester, West Sussex

Live In Groundsman/Maintenance person required for two properties, within one mile of each other. The main duties with be the upkeep of parklands and woodlands, one 8 acres the other 40 acres, house maintenance, and caretaking. You must have previous experience with ride on lawn mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters and chain saws and be able to undertake basic house maintenance work. Also, monitoring of alarm systems and general caretaking work. There is a 3 bedroom cottage at the smaller property where you will reside. Your time will be divided between 1.5 days where you will be residing and 3.5 days, will be at the weekend residence of the principal couple where you will also be working alongside other staff members, so you must be a team player. You will need your own car for this role. The previous caretaker is retiring after 30 years with the family and they are hoping to find a candidate that is really seeking a long term role that they can settle into for many years to come.

Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week. 8am to 4pm
Accommodation: 3 bedroom furnished cottage, including all utilities covered. Partner welcome.
Salary: £29K gross per annum.
