- POSITION IS ON HOLD WHILST A PROPERTY IS SOURCED - Live In Couple required for a gentleman who is acquiring a holiday house in a beautiful location in Rome. You will be responsible for efficiently running and supervising the specific needs of a family/friends household. Providing personal service and a distinctive, hands on involvement. In charge of the efficient, cost and service oriented maintenance of the household all year round. A combination of the following skill sets is required: Housekeeping, cooking, waiter service, chauffeur, handyperson with some knowledge of dealing with technology of a smart house. The duties and responsibilities will be:
Housekeeper/Cook
General housekeeping duties (vacuuming and cleaning floors, dusting and polishing of all surfaces, window cleaning, changing linen etc.)
Preparing the home for the arrival of family and invited guests
Laundry and ironing of clothes and linens
Tending to house plants
Running errands and shopping for the household
Maintaining adequate supplies of cleaning products
Variety of healthy and fresh cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for the family and guests during their stay
Pack/Unpack suitcases
Waiter/Chauffeur/Handyperson
Laying up and serving at table
Driving duties for the family and friends including airport transfers
Taking care of household vehicles
General household maintenance
Looking after minor repairs and small day to day maintenance projects not requiring contractor and organising specific contractors such as alarm systems etc when necessary
Light garden work and overseeing heavy garden work carried out by others
Maintenance of swimming pool
Maintenance of the house
Paying for minor billing/expenses
Preparing a monthly report with all house expenses
You will both need to speak fluent Italian and English for this role and both be drivers and have experience in a similar role. Be child friendly as occasional babysitting may be required. This is a part time residence so you must be happy to be flexible with your working hours, being full on when the house is occupied and working shorter hours and days when the house is unoccupied.
Working Days/Hours: Flexible
Accommodation: Beautiful private one bedroom apartment in the grounds.
Salary: Excellent for right candidates
Start: As soon as the property is secured
