- THIS VACANCY HAS NOW BEEN FILLED - Live In Couple required for single parent and two children aged 15 and 17 residing near Hitchin in a large 5 bedroom house. The roles are Housekeeper/Maintenance Man Driver. The duties for the housekeeper role will be cleaning to a high standard, laundry and ironing and cooking one meal a day and general upkeep of the family home. The duties for the maintenance man will be general house maintenance, swimming pool maintenance, running errands, ad hoc duties around the house and school runs so you must be a confident driver. The lady principal works in London 3 days a week and has 15 rescue dogs so it is vital that you are both dog lovers and child friendly. There is a gardener and dog walker already employed. The client travels twice maximum twice per quarter and will need one person to stay in the main home at these times.
Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm but 3 days a week one (or both) must be happy to stay in the house till the principal returns home later in the evening which subject to the client requirements may be around midnight although typically not every night the client is in London.
Accommodation: Lovely two bedroomed thatch cottage with own garden.
Salary: £70K gross per annum (negotiable for right candidates)
