Description
Commis Chef/Trainee required for a fully staffed, very high end private household.  The role will be to understudy the head chef who has been with the family many years.  This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for cooking and is willing to take instruction and is at the beginning of their career. Private house experience is not required but at least 3 years’ experience working in a kitchen environment and a willingness to learn is essential. The role will also include cleaning the kitchen area and occasionally shopping for produce.  
Working Days/Hours: 5 days a week, days off Sunday and Monday. 11am to 9 or 10pm. 2 hours break between 3pm and 5pm. Shorter hours when family are travelling.
Salary: £50K gross per annum
