- Description
- Live In Estate Manager/Maintenance Man required for private household near south of Stowmarket. For this role you will need to have previous experience working for a private estate, both in a managerial and hands on capacity with a solid knowledge of general house and estate maintenance, basic plumbing and electrical, DIY, garden and pool maintenance and be happy to join an existing team. Other duties will include cleaning the vehicles and occasional driving duties, maintaining stock of logs for open fires - lay/light/clear, monitoring oil supplies, septic tank and assist the gardeners where necessary so experience with machinery will be very useful. You will be responsible for overseeing security of the estate and act as first responder to alarms when you are on duty. You will monitor supplies and re-order when required. Look after, walk and pick up after the dogs. You must have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position, excellent spoken and written English, non-smoker, clean driving licence.
Working Days/Hours of Work: 5 days a week on a rota with existing staff members to cover two weekends a month.
Salary: Negotiable, depending on previous experience
