- Very experienced and professional housekeeper required Our client is looking for an experienced and dynamic housekeeper for a large 4 floored, 8 bedroomed house in Kensington. You will join a team of housekeepers who have worked for the family for many years. You will be required to work a five day week on a rotation with the other housekeepers so you take it in turns to cover weekends. This is a 9 hour day but you will be given an hour’s lunch break each day.
This is a fully staffed formal household so it is imperative that you can work as part of a team, and have excellent communication skills and highly organised.
Duties will include but not limited to; Cleaning to a high standard, laundry and ironing, wardrobe management washing windows, controlling housekeeping supplies and inventory, reporting on any repairs or replacements, running errands and grocery shopping and dealing with contractors.
You must have had longevity in previous roles, at least 5 years working in a private household, experience with antiques and valuables, have a good eye for detail, enjoy working in a team. You will be reporting to the head housekeeper. They would also like the successful candidate to be happy to travel with them occasionally
Working Days/Hours: 5 days a week, 9 hours a day with one hour lunch break. Working on a rota to cover some weekends.
Salary: £45K +gross per year
