Trainee/Commis Chef required for a fully staffed formal private household. You must have an EU passport with the right to work in the UK for this role as you will be traveling from time to time with the family. This role would suit a candidate who is at the start of their career, with a passion for cooking, and looking for a great opportunity to move from restaurant work to working in a private household. Duties for this role will be cleaning the kitchen areas, assisting two chefs with food preparation and all duties relating to the smooth running of a busy kitchen. This is a good opportunity to learn as you will be working under the direction of two top chefs and there is room for growth in the role for the right person. You must be well presented with a cheerful disposition with excellent references and previous experience in a similar role.
Working Days/Hours: 5 days a week Wednesday and Friday off days. 7am to 7pm with midday break.
Salary: £45K to £50K gross per annum depending on experience.
