Live In Domestic Couple - Norfolk

Live In Couple required for large country Estate. The role is for an experienced housekeeper and an all-round gardener to join the existing team so you must be a team player for this role.  This is a private shooting estate so there will be times throughout the year when you will be asked to work weekends, mainly December and January. The stately home estate is on an estate of 8000 acres with 10 acres of formal gardens. The housekeeping role will be cleaning to a high standard, laundry and ironing, care of fine fabrics and finishes, assisting with table service  (not silver service) and general duties to maintain a high-end formal home.  The outside role will be joining two other gardeners to maintain the formal gardens, hedge trimming, grass cutting, walled garden, greenhouses, and vegetable garden etc. It would be an advantage if you are also willing and able to assist in the house when there are guests staying.  You will also be asked to occasionally drive to London, run errands and oversee contractors.  Previous experience in a high-end environment is essential for this role. 

Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm with flexibility during the shooting season with time off in lieu

Accommodation: 2 bedroom fully furnished cottage on the estate.

Salary: £70K negotiable for right couple.

Start Date: July onwards, when right couple is found.
