Live Out Full Time Assistant Gardener/Estate Worker
A prestigious private country estate near Swaffham, Norfolk, is seeking a full-time assistant Gardener and Estate Worker with previous experience in agriculture horticulture. The ideal candidate will not only help maintain our exquisite 26-acre gardens but also be willing to travel to London for additional estate duties as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Care for lawns using large ride-on mowers, strimmers, sprayers, and other garden machinery.
- Perform basic maintenance on garden equipment.
- Maintenance of herbaceous borders, cutting gardens, vegetable patches, greenhouses, fruit cages, and formal hedges.
- Assist with general estate tasks and various responsibilities around the Hall.
Attributes:
- Enthusiastic, hardworking, and a team player with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions and knowledgeable about seasonal gardening requirements.
- Must have a clean driving license.
- Willingness to travel to London for work on occasion.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.
Salary: £28K gross per annum
