Part Time Junior Housekeeper required for a 5 bedroom, 4 storey private home.
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Junior Housekeeper to work alongside the Senior Housekeeper and Private PA to support the smooth and efficient running of a dynamic household. The role is based in the home of two busy CEOs who divide their time between working from home and their Central London offices. Older children visit occasionally during university breaks or short stays. Flexibility and a proactive approach are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Housekeeper and Private PA to prioritise and manage daily household tasks
- Clean all areas of the home to an impeccable standard, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living spaces
- Care for a range of surfaces (wood, glass, marble, upholstery) using appropriate cleaning techniques
- Manage laundry, including washing, ironing, and garment care, with attention to delicate fabrics
- Assist with light food preparation (simple meals or snacks as required)
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness
The Ideal Candidate
- Good English is essential, with strong communication skills
- Previous private household housekeeping experience is essential
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
- Strong knowledge of laundry and fabric care
- Flexible, proactive, and adaptable
- Professional, discreet, and approachable
- Comfortable with a dog in the household`
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Working Days/Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. 10.30am to 6.30pm with some flexibility as required.
Salary: £22 gross per hour
