- Description
- Housekeeper/Gardener Couple. Live In Couple required for family of 3 and 4 dogs close to Virginia Water train station. The two children and aged 15 and 16. You will be working alongside one other housekeeper ensuring the residence is kept to a high standard. The main duties for the housekeeper will be:
- Cleaning and tidying the interior of the entire home to a superior level of cleanliness and hygiene
- Assisting with food prep and cleaning, tidying and organising the kitchen, butler’s pantry and wine room including appliances and equipment after meals
- Keeping the refrigerator, pantry and cupboards clean and discarding out-of-date items
- Making beds, changing bed linens and bath towels
- Collecting, washing, ironing and returning laundry to the appropriate place
- Managing wardrobes
- Mending clothes
- Arranging dry-cleaning
- Cleaning interior windows
- Answering door and phone
- Managing deliveries
- Running errands
- Feeding and exercising pets when needed
- Watering household plants and flower arranging
- Assisting with preparation for dinner parties and special events
- Handling petty cash
- Dealing with tradesmen, suppliers and contractors
- Managing security alarms
- Keeping patios, pathways and steps clean and tidy
- Maintaining stock of cleaning and household supplies
- Maintaining, cleaning and arranging servicing of all household large and small appliances
- Notifying the Employer immediately if anything is needing repair or is broken
Gardener Position: There are 4 acres of gardens so you must have an excellent background in a similar position, able to care for hedges, trees, vegetable garden, flower gardens etc. and be able to upkeep the gardens to a high standard, The successful candidates will be reliable, organised energetic and punctual and have good attention to detail and can take initiative. One must be a driver.
Working Days/Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm with occasional overtime and weekends required.
Accommodation: Separate large one bedroom flat
Salary: £90K per annum negotiable depending on experience.
